Jake is a Senior Energy Consultant at Cornwall Insight Australia and is a core part of our analytics-driven insights. Prior to joining Cornwall Insight, Jake worked at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) across a range of functions including settlements, energy forecasting and market monitoring and insights. Jake spent the majority of his time at AEMO as a key member of the Market Insights team responsible for analysing outcomes in the Australian energy markets and translating that analysis into easy-to-understand insights and visuals for a range of stakeholders. Jake also played a key role in producing the AEMO Quarterly Energy Dynamics report and brings that same analytic rigor to Cornwall Insight’s analytic functions.

Jake is focused on helping our clients make sense of the Australian energy sector and create clarity in an ever-growing sea of information available. He brings insights to areas ranging across wholesale market dynamics, regulatory change, policy decisions and future market design. He is also a regular contributor to Cornwall Insight’s market intelligence services including our Market Alert service, Energy Market Perspective, Benchmark Power Curve and training offerings.
