Cathal is a Senior Consultant on the Cornwall Insight Ireland team and has worked in the energy industry for 3 years. He leads the content publications on the Irish team, assisting the content team in ensuring the Irish Publications are produced to a high standard and providing insight to our customers. He also provides consultancy support and delivers training courses on the Irish energy markets.

Cathal joined Cornwall from the Commission for Regulation of Utilities in September 2019, having worked in natural gas regulation there. Prior to that, he researched grid energy storage concepts in UCD and he has a degree in Chemistry from UCD researching biodiesel for his final year project.
